Expert VFX Artist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Expert VFX Artist to join their studio in Boston for the development of Cyberpunk 2.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, real-time visual effects including explosions, fire, and weather systems
• Mentor and support VFX artists while fostering a culture of creativity and technical excellence
• Collaborate across disciplines to enhance gameplay, cinematics, and environments with VFX

Required Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience in real-time VFX creation, ideally in game development
• Demonstrated experience mentoring or guiding other artists
• Strong knowledge of VFX tools and pipelines (Houdini, 3ds Max, Maya, etc.)
• Deep knowledge of performance optimization for real-time VFX
• Portfolio demonstrating advanced VFX craft for games
