Exploration Manager

Job Summary

Leading exploration activities for a large-scale gold and silver mining operation, the full-time Exploration Manager will manage near-mine and regional exploration programs, oversee target generation and project development, and mentor a high-performing technical team in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess exploration potential and develop and manage exploration programs
• Lead target generation and project pipeline management activities
• Coordinate and sequence exploration activities, including geological, geochemical, geophysical, and drilling programs

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of exploration experience with Carlin-type and epithermal gold-silver deposits
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in exploration management within the mining industry
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Geosciences or a related field, with field camp experience
• Strong understanding of QA/QC principles and data evaluation
• Proficiency with exploration and mining software applications, including GIS and 3D modeling
