Export Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure adherence to U.S. export controls and international trade sanctions, the temporary Export Compliance Specialist will manage compliance programs, conduct due diligence, and provide subject-matter expertise while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage export controls and sanctions compliance programs, including restricted party screening and transaction risk assessments
• Conduct customer and third-party due diligence, implementing risk tiering and onboarding controls
• Prepare and submit Commodity Classification requests and manage export licensing requirements through SNAP-R

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, international business, legal studies, supply chain, or a related field
• 8 years of progressive export compliance experience, focusing on the EAR and U.S. export controls
• Expertise in HTSUS and ECCN classification
• Hands-on experience with export and sanctions screening programs
• Proven ability to assess and manage export compliance risk across global operations
