Job Summary
To ensure adherence to U.S. export controls and international trade sanctions, the temporary Export Compliance Specialist will manage compliance programs, conduct due diligence, and provide subject-matter expertise while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage export controls and sanctions compliance programs, including restricted party screening and transaction risk assessments
- Conduct customer and third-party due diligence, implementing risk tiering and onboarding controls
- Prepare and submit Commodity Classification requests and manage export licensing requirements through SNAP-R
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, international business, legal studies, supply chain, or a related field
- 8 years of progressive export compliance experience, focusing on the EAR and U.S. export controls
- Expertise in HTSUS and ECCN classification
- Hands-on experience with export and sanctions screening programs
- Proven ability to assess and manage export compliance risk across global operations
