Job Summary
Supporting the Global Trade Compliance legal team, the full-time contract Export Control Attorney will provide strategic legal counsel on U.S. export control compliance matters, focusing on hardware engineering, product, and supply chain teams in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance on U.S. export controls, EAR compliance, ECCN classifications, licensing, and dual-use items
- Counsel product, hardware engineering, and supply chain teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Advise on export control implications for emerging technologies, advanced computing, robotics, and global supply chains
Required qualifications
- J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- 7+ years of export controls and international trade compliance experience
- Strong expertise with the EAR, classification, licensing, and technical data transfers
- Experience advising on hardware products, manufacturing, and supply chain compliance
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical, business-focused legal advice
