Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Export Control Attorney will provide practical guidance on export controls and international trade compliance, collaborating with cross-functional teams as new products are developed for global markets.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on U.S. export controls, particularly the EAR, and navigate classification and licensing questions
- Counsel engineering, product, and supply chain stakeholders on complex trade compliance issues
- Assess regulatory risk and translate technical concepts into practical legal advice
Required qualifications
- Strong background in advising on U.S. export controls and international trade compliance
- Experience supporting hardware products and exposure to advanced technologies
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional business partners
- Experience in assessing regulatory risks related to export controls
- Comfort with navigating complex trade compliance issues
