Export Control Compliance Advisor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Export Control and Trade Compliance Advisor to support international trade control capacity and compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on strategic trade control frameworks and compliance infrastructure
• Conduct legal-regulatory reviews and institutional capacity building in host countries
• Develop and deliver training on licensing procedures and compliance programs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in export control, trade compliance, or dual-use licensing
• Proven leadership in export compliance advisory roles or government enforcement
• Experience with strategic sectors such as defense, nuclear, or high-tech manufacturing
• In-depth knowledge of international nonproliferation regimes and UNSCR 1540
• Fluent in English (C1+); additional language skills preferred
