Job Summary

Seeking an experienced and strategic External Communications Lead, this full-time remote position will manage the development and execution of comprehensive external communications strategies, enhance brand reputation, and lead a team to deliver impactful communications across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive external communications strategy, including media relations and brand initiatives
• Build a reporting cadence to measure the effectiveness of external communications programs and provide actionable insights
• Lead and mentor a small team of external communications professionals, ensuring high-quality work and skills development

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate communications, with at least five years in a management role
• Proven track record in developing processes and implementing successful communications strategies
• Strong knowledge of website, SEO, and content analytics tools
• Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of AP Style
• Confident leadership qualities with the ability to provide feedback and collaborate with senior leadership
