Serving as a dedicated PR and communications partner to the CEO, the part-time External Communications Lead will execute an external communications strategy that reinforces the company's position as a leader in technical interviewing and workforce intelligence while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Shape communication strategies and channel decisions in collaboration with the CEO
- Manage Karat's media presence, securing press and broadcast coverage as the primary contact
- Develop and execute campaigns that promote thought leadership, corporate milestones, and product launches
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of communications experience in PR, media relations, and executive communications
- Proven track record of securing earned media and building executive platforms
- Experience ghostwriting for executives with strong editorial judgment
- History of developing impactful narratives and campaigns for target audiences
- Experience managing PR agency partners to achieve measurable outcomes
