Job Summary

Driving audience growth and engagement, the full-time remote External Communications Manager will create and lead thought leadership campaigns, position content and people in high-impact external environments, and connect visibility to measurable engagement and revenue outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Create and lead thought leadership campaigns by translating various content into market-facing initiatives
• Position people, content, and programming externally through securing speaking opportunities and building relationships with media and partners
• Drive external reach and audience growth by distributing thought leadership and executing campaigns that enhance visibility and engagement

Required qualifications

• Experience creating and distributing thought leadership or content through external channels
• Proven ability to translate content, data, and insights into compelling narratives
• Experience securing placements and partnerships with media and external platforms
• Strong understanding of how media placements contribute to backlinks and search visibility
• Ability to connect external activities to measurable performance outcomes
