External Development Manager

Job Summary

Joining Rocksteady Studios as an External Development Manager, the full-time hybrid role will manage a multidisciplinary portfolio of external development partners, ensuring high-quality content delivery for the next AAA title while coordinating with internal teams and maintaining project pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of external development partners, ensuring timely and quality content delivery
• Lead coordination between internal teams and external partners, providing clarity on requirements and feedback
• Assist with documentation, contract preparation, and cost tracking for the external development portfolio

Required Qualifications

• Experience as an External Development Manager, Producer, or Project Manager in game development or VFX
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Shotgrid/Flow
• Solid understanding of waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Proven experience with project budgeting and cost tracking
• Strong communication and organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach
