Job Summary
A company is looking for an External Hazards Regulatory Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage licensing strategies for external hazards analyses
- Oversee integration of external hazard assessments into overall project evaluations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to incorporate hazard analysis results into safety evaluations and regulatory submissions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in civil engineering, environmental engineering, nuclear engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Nuclear Regulatory Commission or Department of Energy requirements is a plus
- Familiarity with the International Building Code is advantageous
- Ability to track and evaluate changes in NRC regulations
- Experience in technical writing and documentation for regulatory filings
