Job Summary

A company is looking for an External Hazards Regulatory Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage licensing strategies for external hazards analyses
  • Oversee integration of external hazard assessments into overall project evaluations
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to incorporate hazard analysis results into safety evaluations and regulatory submissions
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in civil engineering, environmental engineering, nuclear engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with Nuclear Regulatory Commission or Department of Energy requirements is a plus
  • Familiarity with the International Building Code is advantageous
  • Ability to track and evaluate changes in NRC regulations
  • Experience in technical writing and documentation for regulatory filings
