External Reporting Analyst
Job Summary
To support a growing Investments Finance team, the fully remote External Reporting Analyst will prepare schedules for financial filings, assist with close processes, and conduct analyses to support informed decision-making within a Fortune 100 organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop schedules for external financial filings, including SEC and NAIC reporting requirements
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes by preparing journal entries and resolving reporting issues
- Perform financial, statistical, and trend analyses to identify unusual results and communicate findings to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, investments, or analytics
- Foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- Ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
