External Sourcing Manager

Job Summary

Supporting global sourcing initiatives, the full-time Temporary External Sourcing Manager will manage procurement activities for raw materials and parts, develop strategic sourcing strategies, and conduct market analysis while working onsite in York, PA with one day remote each week.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily procurement activities for production materials and supplies
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies to enhance cost efficiency and quality
• Conduct supplier evaluations and maintain relationships through performance assessments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of procurement experience in heavy industry or similar sectors
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management and market analysis
• Technical aptitude to interpret specifications and drawings
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Navision/SAP) and reporting tools (PowerBI, Qlik Sense)
