F5 Security Engineer

Job Summary

Providing client consultation and technology support, the full-time F5 Security Engineer will design, implement, and troubleshoot secure technical environments while working remotely from Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform analyses of customer technical needs and recommend, design, and implement secure technical environments
• Install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot technical solution components, addressing complex hardware/software problems
• Communicate architecture, policy, and technology issues effectively to all levels of clients through high-quality documentation and interviews

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with Cisco routers and switches; knowledge of Aruba switches is a plus
• Familiarity with firewalls such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower, Juniper SRX, or Fortinet
• Knowledge in Network Data/Mobility, Network Security, or Network Voice (UC), and Data Center Components
• CCNA certification required; CCNP Collaboration and CCNP Enterprise certifications are preferred
• Basic understanding of SIP, H323 gateways, and Expressway connectors
