FAA Licensed Drone Pilot

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Drone Pilot / UAS Operator for an environmental and forestry survey project.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) for large-area environmental data collection
• Capture high-resolution imagery suitable for forestry and land-use analysis
• Process drone imagery and support the generation of GIS-ready datasets

Required Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 Certified Drone Pilot (valid)
• Must own and operate your own drone equipment
• Demonstrated experience with forestry, wildfire, environmental, or land survey projects
• Ability to work in remote and rugged terrain
• Familiarity with GIS data deliverables (shapefiles, georeferenced imagery, summaries)
