Job Summary
To support Drone as First Responder operations, the full-time FAA Part 107 Certified Technical Support Engineer will manage complex technical issues related to drones, hardware, software, and integrated workflows while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a technical resource for escalated DFR issues across pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight operations
- Troubleshoot complex issues involving drone and dock hardware, remote control systems, and platform integrations
- Perform log-level investigations and technical analysis to build clear narratives and prepare engineering-ready escalations
Required qualifications
- FAA Part 107 certification is required, or the ability to obtain it quickly
- 4+ years of advanced technical support or systems troubleshooting experience in a complex hardware/software environment
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills, including log analysis and issue reproduction
- Hands-on familiarity with hardware and software systems used in DFR environments
- Working knowledge of public safety IT systems and networking concepts
