Job Summary
A company is looking for a Contract Specialist to assist with acquisitions strategy and process improvement for government contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide business management support for acquisition package planning, development, and execution
- Deliver acquisition services and training to enhance government acquisition functions and mission objectives
- Develop and implement processes to monitor vendor performance and improve contract execution
Required Qualifications
- FAC-C Professional or equivalent certification with knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations
- At least 24 months of recent experience in government contracting and procurement
- US Coast Guard or DHS experience is highly preferred
- Experience in fields such as accounting, business, finance, or contracts
- US Citizenship and Public Trust or DHS suitability preferred
