Job Summary

A company is looking for a Contract Specialist to assist with acquisitions strategy and process improvement for government contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide business management support for acquisition package planning, development, and execution
  • Deliver acquisition services and training to enhance government acquisition functions and mission objectives
  • Develop and implement processes to monitor vendor performance and improve contract execution
Required Qualifications
  • FAC-C Professional or equivalent certification with knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations
  • At least 24 months of recent experience in government contracting and procurement
  • US Coast Guard or DHS experience is highly preferred
  • Experience in fields such as accounting, business, finance, or contracts
  • US Citizenship and Public Trust or DHS suitability preferred
