Job Summary

To support facilities operations and maintenance, the contract Facilities Buyer II will manage supplier relationships, oversee procurement processes, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage and direct suppliers to support facilities operations and capital improvement projects
  • Prepare Requests for Proposal/Quote and develop negotiation strategies for procurement activities
  • Lead the procurement process from requisition creation to final payment, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Knowledge of procurement and supplier management within facilities or MRO categories
  • Experience negotiating and managing various contract types, including Firm Fixed Price and service-based agreements
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and facilities-related compliance standards
  • Certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, PMP, or FMP/CFM are preferred
