Facilities Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer for a full-time remote position responsible for overseeing the operations, maintenance, and performance of facility systems at a data center, ensuring optimal performance of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems while collaborating with various teams to meet uptime and efficiency standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of facility systems including electrical distribution, HVAC, and building management systems
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs, tracking and resolving facility work orders
• Monitor facility health using DCIM and BMS platforms, responding quickly to minimize downtime

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in facilities engineering or data center operations
• Hands-on knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical/cooling systems
• Familiarity with BMS/DCIM platforms for monitoring and control
• Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, OSHA)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
