Job Summary
Overseeing the operations and maintenance of central utility plants, the full-time salaried Facilities Manager - DC Licensed will manage boiler and chiller plants, supervise technical staff, ensure compliance with federal regulations, and serve as the primary on-site contact for the customer in Washington, DC.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of facility operations and maintenance for boiler and chiller plants and supporting MEP infrastructure
- Serve as the principal on-site representative to the customer, ensuring effective communication and timely issue resolution
- Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations and maintenance supporting central plants or similar systems
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience
- Ability to review confidential US security information
- Valid driver's license in good standing
