Facilities Material Analyst

Job Summary

To support the United States Antarctic Program, the full-time Facilities Material Analyst will coordinate material acquisition, manage procurement activities, and ensure timely delivery of materials to McMurdo, South Pole, and Palmer facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to assess procurement needs and draft accurate documents in Maximo
• Monitor procurement request statuses, follow up with material planners, and address receiving discrepancies
• Manage facilities inventory and recommend replenishment quantities to ensure operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience with 2-4 years in procurement
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Minimum four years of office experience with strong attention to detail and data analysis skills
• Advanced knowledge of databases and spreadsheets with excellent data entry abilities
