Facilities Mechanical Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering design and specifications for installation of new capital equipment, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Optimize plant systems such as boilers, compressed air, and clean room systems
- Act as the main point of contact for contractors, managing scheduling, payment, and safety training
Required Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical Engineering with 3 to 5 years of related experience, or 10+ years of related experience
- Design experience in industrial HVAC, pumps, plumbing, steam, compressed air, and vacuum systems
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D or REVIT is preferred
- Understanding of budgeting for construction projects
- Experience in managing engineering databases and job tracking systems
