Facilities Operations Category Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Specialist, Category Manager - Facilities & Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage category strategies to achieve business objectives and deliver sustainable value
• Coordinate with internal customers to understand business requirements and monitor performance against strategic goals
• Drive cost savings through supplier negotiations, contract management, and the identification of new opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry, or a Graduate degree with 4 years of experience, or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Specific experience with FAR/DFAR regulations is preferred
• Demonstrated category management or sourcing experience in Facilities & Operations
• Institute of Supply Management (ISM) certification or equivalent is preferred
• Experience with eSourcing tools and advanced procurement analytics is advantageous
