Facilities Technician

Job Summary

Supporting the day-to-day operations of Genentech Facilities, the full-time hourly Facilities Technician will maintain building-related equipment and R&D lab support activities in San Diego, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Manage service providers for regular service visits and after-hour emergency calls
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance rounds, completing all associated logs and paperwork
• Oversee company assets requiring tagging and collaborate with multiple departments for proper classification

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• 4+ years of related experience
• Experience using Siemens Desigo Building Management system or similar software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
