Job Summary
A company is looking for a Facility Coding Auditor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and audit facility coding, perform annual performance reviews, and DRG validation reviews
- Assess educational needs, develop programs, and create training materials
- Assist with training new staff, develop training materials, and identify areas for improvement
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of coding experience
- 3+ years of facility coding audit experience
- Proficiency in EMR systems, encoders, and Microsoft Office
- Educated in HIPAA regulations
- Hold a professional certification such as CPC, CCS, RHIA, or RHIT
