Facility Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

To support credentialing and re-credentialing activities for healthcare providers, the part-time Facility Credentialing Specialist will manage applications, maintain provider records, and ensure compliance with facility and regulatory requirements in a remote or hybrid setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete initial credentialing, re-credentialing, and privileging applications through facility credentialing systems
• Maintain accurate provider records, including licenses, certifications, and other required documentation
• Monitor credentialing timelines and compliance requirements to ensure uninterrupted provider privileges

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of credentialing experience in a healthcare or provider enrollment environment
• Experience with credentialing platforms such as Credential, Stream, or similar systems preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance standards related to credentialing preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience supporting hospital and ambulatory surgery center credentialing processes preferred
