Facility Security Specialist

Job Summary

Providing analytical and advisory services remotely, the Facility Security Specialist will interpret and apply physical security policies for the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Protective Service, focusing on risk assessment and facility security assessments across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities:

• Learn and understand procedures to assess risks to federal facilities
• Conduct in-depth reviews of Facility Security Assessments and document deficiencies
• Coordinate FSA requests and provide Helpdesk support for regional Assessment Program Managers

Required qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship
• Ability to obtain a federal government public trust
• Minimum of six years of experience in related analytical and support activities
• Bachelor's degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
