Family Engagement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Family and Student Engagement Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement a national family engagement and partnership strategy aligned with organizational priorities
• Build and maintain relationships with partners to expand family outreach and engagement
• Manage family engagement initiatives and support the effective use of assistive technology resources

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in special education, social work, vocational rehabilitation, or a related field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with blind, low vision, or deafblind individuals and their families
• Strong knowledge of IDEA, IEP/IFSP processes, and family systems within special education
• Experience coordinating events and supporting assistive technology adoption
• Familiarity with braille, assistive technology ecosystems, and digital accessibility considerations
