Family Health Advocate
Job Summary
To provide meaningful support to members and their families, the full-time remote Family Health Advocate will facilitate personalized resource and referral services, assist with healthcare navigation, and resolve issues related to benefits and claims.
Key responsibilities
- Assist members with inquiries regarding eligibility, benefits, claims issues, and provider searches
- Coordinate issue resolution with providers and third parties for claims adjustments and grievances
- Provide proactive care guidance and educate members on healthcare-related inquiries and available programs
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-year associate's degree in healthcare/health sciences or equivalent experience in healthcare
- Prior experience in roles such as Health Guide, Medical Assistant, or Pharmacy Technician
- Experience in customer service within a healthcare contact center or provider office
- Proven ability to resolve high-level customer service issues effectively
