Job Summary
Providing personalized support to members and their families, the full-time remote Family Health Advocate will manage inquiries regarding healthcare benefits, assist with issue resolution, and facilitate healthcare navigation to help members achieve their health goals.
Key responsibilities
- Answer member inquiries related to eligibility, benefits, claims, and provider searches
- Coordinate issue resolution with providers and payers for claims adjustments and grievances
- Provide proactive care guidance and education on health care inquiries and available programs
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-year associate's degree in healthcare/health sciences or equivalent experience in healthcare
- Experience in customer service within a healthcare contact center or provider office
- Previous roles such as Health Guide, Medical Assistant, or Pharmacy Technician are preferred
- Proven ability to resolve high-level customer service issues effectively
