Family Medicine Physician Advisor

Job Summary

To support a venture capital fund, the part-time Family Medicine Physician Advisor will evaluate healthcare startups, provide insights into primary care practices, and guide investment strategies remotely, dedicating 2-3 hours per month.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate startups with a focus on family medicine, including care workflows and patient engagement
• Assess investment opportunities in digital health and value-based care technologies
• Advise founders on clinical implementation and integration into primary care practices

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with Family Medicine training
• Active clinical practice preferred
• Strong understanding of primary care workflows and chronic disease management
• Familiarity with reimbursement and regulatory dynamics in healthcare
• Interest in digital health and venture capital
