Family Medicine Physician Advisor

Job Summary

Seeking experienced family medicine physicians, the part-time Family Medicine Physician Advisor will provide clinical and strategic insights to evaluate and support healthcare startups remotely, dedicating approximately 2-4 hours per month to enhance healthcare access and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical and strategic guidance on healthcare startups focused on primary care, preventive care, and chronic disease management
• Support evaluation of healthcare startups regarding business models, clinical relevance, and scalability
• Advise portfolio companies on family medicine workflows, patient engagement, and commercialization strategies

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with experience practicing family medicine
• Board certification or board eligibility in family medicine preferred
• Experience in primary care operations, population health, and healthcare innovation preferred
• Strong understanding of family medicine workflows and patient engagement
• Ability to commit approximately 2-4 hours per month to advisory activities
