Job Summary

To support a growing virtual treatment program, the full-time Family Mentor will provide individual and group sessions to caregivers, ensuring adherence to care plans while fostering engagement and satisfaction remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide skills-based sessions to caregivers, implementing motivational strategies to enhance engagement with care plans
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team huddles to support patient progress and conduct proactive outreach to ensure full engagement
• Guide caregivers in developing advocacy-related documentation and personalize care plans to meet family needs

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with families in a healthcare setting, such as coaching, case management, or social work
• Lived experience as an eating disorder support for a loved one in stable recovery
• Ability to connect with diverse individuals and direct families in achieving treatment goals
• Passion for evidence-based care and willingness to learn and develop new coaching skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven track record of meeting goals
