Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Family Mentor will support caregivers in integrating into Equip's treatment by providing skills-based sessions, implementing motivational strategies, and participating in multidisciplinary team huddles to enhance patient engagement and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide skills-based individual and group sessions to caregivers in treatment
• Implement motivational strategies to engage caregivers with their care plans and monitor adherence
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team huddles to support patient progress

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with families/supports in a healthcare setting
• Lived experience as an eating disorder support for a loved one in stable recovery
• Ability to connect with a diverse range of individuals
• Passion for evidence-based care and willingness to develop new coaching skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven track record of meeting goals
