Farsi Consecutive Interpreter

Job Summary

Providing essential interpretation services, the contracted Farsi Consecutive Interpreter will facilitate communication during phone calls and meetings while working remotely and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation services during various communication scenarios
• Accurately convey messages from the source language to the target language after listening carefully
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while adhering to HIPAA and client protocols

Required qualifications

• 1+ years of experience or 3000 hours of active interpretation
• Proficiency in at least two languages (source and target languages)
• Proof of English language proficiency with a "technical proficiency" on the national ILR rating or equivalent
• Completion of Mock Call assessment with a passing score
• Technical infrastructure to support interpretation assignments
