FCRA Compliance Officer
Job Summary
Building and owning the FCRA compliance program from the ground up, the full-time remote FCRA Compliance Officer will manage policies, procedures, and consumer relations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the entity's FCRA compliance program, including policies, procedures, and training
- Oversee consumer relations processes, including dispute intake and reinvestigation within statutory timelines
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to enhance compliance infrastructure and automate processes as needed
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in consumer financial services compliance, with hands-on FCRA experience at a consumer reporting agency
- Proven ability to build or significantly rebuild a compliance program from scratch
- Direct experience managing dispute and reinvestigation functions
- Strong writing skills for producing independent compliance documentation
- Legally authorized to work in the United States and residing in the country
