Job Summary
Driving strategic revenue growth, the full-time remote Federal Account Executive will manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle within U.S. Federal Civilian agencies, focusing on software supply chain security and building multi-stakeholder relationships to enhance market presence.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and execute a strategic territory plan to expand Sonatype's footprint across Federal Civilian Agencies
- Drive complex federal software procurement cycles from initial discovery to contract award and deployment
- Collaborate with internal teams and Federal Systems Integrators to optimize deal velocity and ensure successful proof-of-concept executions
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in federal sales, particularly within civilian agencies
- Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and contract vehicles
- Experience in software supply chain security or related technology fields
- Ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder relationships effectively
- Proficiency in CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.com, for opportunity management and pipeline analysis
