Job Summary
Focused on net-new logo acquisition, the full-time remote Enterprise Account Executive for the Federal Public Sector will drive business development efforts by penetrating new Federal agencies, generating new annual recurring revenue, and building a robust sales pipeline through strategic outreach.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and target net-new Federal agencies through outbound prospecting and cold calling
- Map complex federal organizational structures to find key decision-makers and influencers
- Deliver tailored presentations that communicate Sonatype's value to government stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of quota-carrying enterprise software sales experience in the US Federal sector
- Proven track record of net-new logo acquisition and sales achievements
- Expertise in federal procurement processes and contract vehicles
- Strong background in application security, DevSecOps, or open-source software management
- Exceptional prospecting skills with a focus on outbound sales execution
