Federal Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant specializing in Financial Reporting and Financial Statements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support monthly and quarterly Treasury and OMB reporting requirements, including GTAS submissions and certification
• Prepare and review SF-133 reports, Statements of Transactions, and DATA Act submissions
• Post and reconcile general ledger entries related to asset transfers and financial statement preparation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• At least three (3) years of federal accounting experience
• Working knowledge of FASAB, GAAP, and OMB Bulletins and Circulars
• Knowledge of accounting theories, practices, and financial management systems
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
