Federal Acquisitions Contract Manager

Job Summary

To support the Loan Guaranty Product Line within the BAM PMO Support project, the full-time remote Agile Acquisitions Contract Manager will manage federal contracts, assist with procurement documentation, and facilitate acquisition strategies for software development and operations vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and administer federal contracts and task orders for Department of Veterans Affairs initiatives
• Review and validate contract deliverables to ensure compliance with requirements and objectives
• Provide contract guidance and facilitate meetings with stakeholders, including VA leadership and program managers

Required qualifications

• At least 8 years of professional experience, with 5+ years in federal acquisition and contracting
• Expert-level knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR)
• Advanced expertise in strategic planning and analysis for acquisition activities
• Strong experience with project management tools, particularly JIRA
• Federal acquisition certifications (FAC-C, FAC-COR) strongly preferred
