A company is looking for a Federal Affairs Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a winning sales strategy for a specific policy portfolio
• Transform federal policy ideas into reality by managing the lawmaking process and collaborating with stakeholders
• Build and maintain relationships with key federal officials and agencies to facilitate policy wins

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in federal policy, including legislative and/or executive agency experience
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated with the ability to independently determine actions and engage with stakeholders
• Deep knowledge of the political environment and experience working on Capitol Hill
• Existing network of relationships within Washington, D.C. is preferred
