Federal Budget Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Budget Analyst to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and justify annual and multi-year budget requests in alignment with agency missions
• Prepare materials for the President's Budget submission to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB)
• Monitor obligations and outlays to ensure compliance with enacted appropriations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, public administration, business, or a related field
• Master's degree (MPA, MBA, MS in Finance/Econ) preferred but not required
• 5-7 years of progressively responsible federal budgeting experience
• Budget Analyst background with the DoD
• Active Secret clearance is required
