Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Federal Budget Specialist will leverage their expertise in federal budgeting and planning processes to enhance a planning application, collaborating with designers and developers in a 100% remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Gather requirements and collaborate with the implementation team to deploy the BAS solution, including design and testing
- Manage software releases, ensuring thorough testing and documentation of the application
- Conduct business process analysis and assist in designing budgeting and planning functionality, including dashboards and reports
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with government budgets and spend plans
- Deep understanding of government financial processes such as Budget Formulation and Budget Execution
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Experience in developing test plans and managing testing execution
