Job Summary
Supporting regulated cloud environments, the full-time Federal Cloud Security Engineer will manage vulnerability scanning, compliance activities, and security operations in Microsoft Azure while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts using security tools like Tenable
- Support ongoing FedRAMP and IRAP Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) activities to ensure regulatory compliance
- Monitor and respond to security events using Microsoft Sentinel and related technologies
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related fields
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with FedRAMP-authorized or IRAP-assessed environments preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience administering and securing Microsoft Azure environments
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, or ISO 27001
