Job Summary
To support a fast-moving cybersecurity company, the remote Federal Compliance Analyst will manage federal security and compliance workstreams, drive continuous monitoring workflows, and support vulnerability detection and response in a full-time capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Own assigned federal security and compliance workstreams from requirement interpretation through implementation and evidence collection
- Drive recurring continuous monitoring and evidence workflows, coordinating across various teams to ensure compliance evidence is current and complete
- Support vulnerability detection and response, including risk-based triage and remediation follow-through
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in security, compliance, GRC, risk, audit, or related disciplines, preferably in a cloud or highly regulated environment
- Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and its application in technical implementation and audit evidence
- Experience with compliance operations such as evidence collection, control documentation, and continuous monitoring
- Technical curiosity with the ability to interpret architecture diagrams and security documentation into compliance actions
- Strong operational discipline to manage multiple workstreams and dependencies effectively
