Federal Compliance Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Federal Compliance Architect to work remotely, who will define technical vision and ensure compliance with federal security standards while collaborating with engineering teams to achieve FedRAMP and DoD authorizations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish architectural standards and design resilient federal platforms to meet compliance requirements
• Translate federal security controls into scalable cloud architectures and drive accountability for compliance across the platform lifecycle
• Engage with senior leaders and stakeholders to align platform strategy with market trends and customer needs

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security architecture, cloud engineering, or systems design, with at least 5 years in federal compliance initiatives
• Proven experience as a Principal Architect, driving technical strategy and multi-year roadmaps
• Deep knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, FIPS, and DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements
• Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud or Microsoft Azure Government
• Experience leading Third-Party Assessment Organization assessments and FedRAMP authorization processes
