Federal Construction Estimator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Federal Estimator specializing in Construction, Environmental, Munitions Response, and Fuels.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure timely completion of cost estimates for federal projects
• Evaluate construction bids for completeness and accuracy, making recommendations for contract awards
• Provide supervision and training for less experienced staff estimators

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5 to 8 years of private contracting estimating experience
• A minimum of 3 years of experience estimating federal and commercial construction projects
• Knowledge of civil, mechanical, and electrical systems and structures
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods for federal fueling facilities and environmental remediation
• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one; must be a US Citizen
