Federal Contract Accounting Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Consultant to support financial operations and ensure fiscal strength and stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up projects and employees in systems, assigning appropriate CLINs/LCATs, hours, and rates
• Create and submit contract invoices and monitor accounts receivable for timely payment
• Lead month-end close processes and prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting, with at least 4 years in federal government contract accounting
• Proficiency in financial software, with Unanet experience strongly desired
• Experience with Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) and DCAA compliance requirements
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
