Federal Contract Specialist

Job Summary

Providing cradle to grave acquisition support, the full-time Federal Contract Specialist will manage pre-award, award, and post-award contract administration activities for the CDC, working remotely with occasional travel for required processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre-award functions, including market research, advising on regulations, and coordinating internal reviews
• Draft and edit acquisition documentation for Government review, including RFQs, RFPs, and source selection documentation
• Create and maintain complete electronic contract files in official systems, ensuring timely and accurate reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• At least five (5) years of cradle to grave federal contracting experience
• Current or previous FAC C certification or civilian equivalent
• Demonstrated experience with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and agency supplements
