Job Summary
Owning public sector contracting and compliance, the full-time PubSec Counsel will provide strategic legal counsel and manage government contracts for U.S. Federal Government and defense-focused programs while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with sales and finance teams on contract negotiations and compliance efforts
- Review, draft, and negotiate various government contracts and bid documents
- Advise on federal regulations and develop compliance programs related to government contracting
Required qualifications
- Deep federal contracting expertise with hands-on experience in FAR, DFARS, and GSA schedules
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one state
- Experience providing risk-based legal guidance in a fast-paced environment
- High emotional intelligence and collaborative skills to work effectively with diverse teams
- Self-direction and ability to manage workload independently while building processes from scratch
